2nd Commonwealth Championships - India

Congratulations to Linda Garner for her superb 3rd place in the individual Ladies Compound and also helping the England Ladies Compound team to 2nd place.
The 2nd Commonwealth Archery Championship was held in Jamshedpur, India from 8th to 11th November 2006.

Aire Valley Christmas Cracker

The annual shoot at Aire Valley Archers on 10th December, dubbed the Christmas Cracker, was well attended by members from Bronte and brought some degree of success.

Raymond Sloane and Neil Crickmore took 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Gents Recurve.

Tracey McGowan took second in the Ladies Recurve.

Linda Garner took 1st in the Ladies Compound.

Les Court took 3rd in the Gents Longbow.

Denise Singleton took 2nd in the Ladies Longbow

Paul Singleton took 1st in the Junior Gents Longbow.

Bronte Archers also won the Recurve Team prize.

Not a bad day's shooting!
